Starting November 2,2019 Jen Mrskos-Werner will be working with Prestige Softball. She will work with the softball teams and their pitchers. Jen has played softball for more than 27 years and was a pitcher and a second baseman throughout her career. Jen was very competitive, played on a varsity level as a freshman all four years in high school, received many awards, played travel softball, and received a full scholarship to play in college.
Jen graduated from Trinity Christian College in 2001 with a Bachelors Degree in Education and has worked in the educational field for about 18 years. Jen has coached at Westmont, Evergreen Park, Homewood Flossmore High School and a 16U travel team in Woodbridge Illinois. Along with coaching she provides individual private lessons. She is currently employed at Oak Lawn High School where she was also hired to coach the sophomore softball team.
When she is not coaching or giving independent instruction, she is a mom. Jen has three children, a girl 14, a boy 12 and a girl who is 9. She instills values of education, kindness and athleticism. A lot of her time is spent on a field due to all three of them playing travel softball, baseball, and many other sports. She loves her family, enjoys watching them grow into mature responsible individuals and has a passion for the sport. Jen is excited to start working at Prestige and getting to know the talented young ladies.
